Dancing With the Stars - Quilt Style

To thank our customers for shopping with us throughout the year we wanted to do something free & fun to show you our appreciation!

This summer I will be teaming up with Common Threads In New Preston, to offer you "Dancing With the Stars" quilt style. We will be handing out a free block pattern, with the fabric included, each week at both stores for 6 weeks. That means 12 blocks with the fabric at no cost to you.

Here are the rules:
Week 1 begins July 7
Week 2 begins July 14
Week 3 begins July 21
Week 4 begins July 28
Week 5 begins Aug. 4
Week 6 begins Aug. 11 and ends on Aug. 15

Registration is required to participate. You may register at either shop.(You need only register at one shop).
Each Quilt Shop will offer a different block each week free of charge. If you miss a week you may purchase the blocks for $3.00 a piece.

You are the only person who can pick up your blocks. If you have a planned vacation, we will hold your blocks for one week, only one time during the 6 weeks. Otherwise you may still purchase any missed weeks.

Corrine and I both hope " Dancing With the Stars" Quilt style will be something fun and different for you to look forward to this summer.

Connecticut Quilt Shop Hop 2009

Registration Begins Friday, May 15! Your $5 registration fee includes a tote bag, commemorative pin, shop hop passport and pattern cover for the exclusive Crossroads thru Connecticut quilt pattern. Travel to all 18 participating shops, collect your 2-1/2" strips and make this quilt in your choice of sizes. Pattern instructions are free when you complete the hop! Enter to win a raffle basket of quilting goodies - retail value $150 - at each shop. Complete the shop hop for a chance to win gift certiticate prizes.

Consult with our friendly, knowledgeable staff. Classes for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Books, Patterns, Notions - We will be happy to assist you with your quilting needs.

Normal Business Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00-5:00
Wednesday: Until 8:00 (If we have a class)
Sundays & Mondays: closed

Groups of ten or more call ahead to schedule a time and we will give each customer a 15% discount on their fabric. You can schedule evenings, Sundays, or any time during our regular hours.
